Annual Fire Safety Statements

The Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 (EP&A Reg.) requires all buildings to produce an Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) and your HVAC services like smoke control systems, stair pressurisation, fire and smoke dampers and more must be assessed for performance and interfacing with the fire protection systems. 2020 HVAC Services is wholly integrated with 2020 Fire Protection to ensure the AFSS process is seamless with less headaches for building owners and managers alike!

The AFSS is a document stating that each and all the essential fire safety measures on the site be inspected and verified as continuing to perform as they were designed and installed. Inspection and testing form a part of this verification process particularly since year 2020 where the EP&A regulation required an Accredited Practitioner (Fire Safety) or APFS be engaged to endorse (sign-off) each of the measures on your property.

We are considered leaders and were one of the first companies to have Accredited Practitioners formally accredited and unrestricted.
